Mr. Divo was born in the U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Thomas, under
the name Clifford A. Jones Jr.
He was introduced to the New York City life in 1993 after
the passing of his father. Living with
his single mother and 2 older sisters, he was forced into being responsible at
a very early age.
"Growing up seeing your single mother struggling.. Working...going to school and taking care of the kids... Its just breath-taking to see the finishing product of her hard work today and the morals that she gave to me, and it's that fire that she brings and desire to succeed , that created Mr. Divo."
Mr. Divo is an alter ego. This character is far from shady, judgmental,
or negative. Mr. Divo attitude is the
burning desire to get things executed successfully. Have fun, laugh, have
personality, be genuine, be honest, but most of all don't forget where you have
came from and consistently remind yourself on where you're going.
JACK OF ALL TRADES… Studied at Aviation High School for
Airframe and Power plant in becoming an Aircraft Mechanic. Worked several years at the LeParker Merieden
Hotel. Got into High Fashion Showroom & In-Store Visuals Merchandising. Got into Real Estate.Went to Devry University for Human Resource
Management.Always had 2 to 3 jobs at a
time. This trend was very tiring.

Applied to Sephora for an Animation position (Visuals), I had gotten hired but asked to become a Color Consultant (Makeup Artist).. And accepted the
position.

I would never forget my 1st day at Sephora. My
knowledge was horrible, but my personality and willingness to learn was on
point. I had so much job training in Sephora, SOS and all these brand
trainings. With all the Gratis that I've received, I put it to the side and I started
building my own MUA kit. That kit made me so much money and experience outside
of work.
I then had the desire for more, so I applied and got hired
at INGLOT COSMETICS.This store is like
a candy store- You want to try everything.I flew back and forth to Miami and Chicago with this company and I was
the face of the line at major tradeshows.In the store, I do makeup, and plan events.CEO, Mr. Inglot and Vice President, Mrs.
Joanna, are coolest people you can ever work for.The lesson that I learn from this company is
that consistency and hard work will eventually pay off, don't give up when times
get tough.
Now I'm the new face of Cover FX Cosmetics. I travel
everywhere with this line.I'm in
Jersey, Long Island, Westchester, Greenwich Ct, and Manhattan.I'm representing my line and building up personal
clientele in all these locations. Cover FX has really great products, selling
the products here is magic. When you can see what this line can do for Burn
Victims, Tattoo Coverage, Rosacea, Surgical Scars… you will be amazed. It's
also the only line sold in NYU Hospital and Howard university hospital. Their products
have personally made a major difference to the texture and the clarity of my
skin.
